By doing this we can create a seachange. Where we can protect and preserve (even restore) commercial shellfisheries, we can protect the culture and history of a region. We can create jobs and tourism which creates economic opportunities for locals and recreational opportunities for visitors both on and off the water. It all ties together, like an eco-system or a food chain.
